A few years ago, we found ourselves bringing Grant over to Windsor High School to try out for the Windsor Water Rats.  What we quickly saw is a group of tremendous individuals and families band together in sharing the common goals of not only becomming better swimmers, but more importantly creating friendly atmosphere that thrives on encouragement.  

Each year the Water Rats holds a fundraiser in which the kids (and in this case also the adults) will swim as many laps as they can in 60 minutes.  For anyone who has even taken 1 lap of the pool, you can imagine how hard this can be.  In early 2024, Grant swam 127 laps over those 60 minutes and I was simply in awe of not only what he did but what his teammates were able to do as well.  So this year I thought I would join both boys in diving head first and pushing myself as best that I can.  Luckily the adult portion is only 30 minutes but I think that is plenty of time for me to do what I do best.......making a fool out of myself.  Please consider donating to this awesome team and while you are at it, have a laugh at my expense.  I wont be offended!
