ELYSA MEJIA-ARROYO

I swim with WWRX and try my best,
Learning something new at every test.
My coaches teach me how to grow,
How to keep going even when I’m slow.

I swim the 100 IM, four strokes to learn,
Each one takes practice every turn.
I race the 25 butterfly, strong and small,
Working on my kicks and my wall.

Then there’s the 500 free, steady and long,
It’s not always easy, but I stay strong.
My coaches remind me to breathe and pace,
And finish with focus, not just race.

I’m swimming my laps to help our team,
So we can keep learning and chasing our dreams.
